The customer insight that Harris performed on behalf of MicroVention played a critical role, if not the critical role, in the formulation of an overall plan that led to a refocusing and an increase in expenditures on sales and marketing. This effort, plus the subsequent execution of the plan by the MicroVention team, led to an increase in the company’s revenue and market share. All of which, ultimately, led to MicroVention being successfully acquired in 2006.
