Mimi has over 20 years of research experience, including over 10 consulting for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.  Mimi has broad and deep methodological expertise in a wide range of qualitative research methodologies, including focus groups, individual depth interviews, ethnography and innovative digital data collection techniques.  She has conducted numerous domestic and global studies in support of new and in-line agents across the product lifecycle.  Prior to Healogix, she worked at Double Helix and GfK.  While at GfK she served as co-leader for the Center of Excellence for Qualitative Healthcare Research.  Mimi leverages her training in political anthropology to uncover deep cultural and emotional drivers, and inform actionable strategies and tactics.   Her therapeutic areas of specialization include virology (HIV, HCV, Hep B), immunology (RA, Crohn’s), CNS (MS, Alzheimer’s), oncology (MBC, H&N, CRC, CLL), anesthesia/pain management, rare diseases (Hemophilia) and respiratory (Asthma, Allergy, COPD).  In the digital space, recent projects include a Digital Day study (with specialists, PCPs and patients), virtual ethnographies, a positioning study for a digital services provider, and helping to develop and introduce GfK’s qualitative digital healthcare platform.  She earned a BA in Philosophy from Yale College, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and a Ph.D. in Social and Cultural Anthropology from Indiana University.
